Mkay, people have been asking me how i copy (rip) dvd movies to my harddrive, so i figured i would take the time out of my busy schedual to show every one how.
First, make sure you have all of the materials list at the very top of this page. I will be using everything up there. number 1 is hardware and 2-3 are software. Please install all software before moving on. now lets start making us some movies!

Put the DVD you want to rip in your DVD-ROM (the cdrom that plays your dvds).

Open CladDVD

Click "No IFO Parsing"

Click "Rip Full DVD"

Wait untill the dvd is ripped to your harddrive (this could take up to 1 hour, but it usually takes me 10 mins)

Thats all there is to ripping your DVD! but it takes up 6 gigs! lets compress it!

When cladDVD is finished, open FlaskMPEG

Click "File", scroll down the menu and click "Open File" (sometimes it says open media?)

In the file name box, type "C:\"

When you see the files in your C Drive, scroll to the D section, you should see a folder named "DVD-YOURMOVIE". Open it.

You should see a bunch of files name "VTS_##_#", you only need to open ISO Files

Choose the IFO file that your movie is located in. (if you dont know which file, just keep trying)

Select the title, (usually #1), the audio track (also #1), and subtitles (usually off).

Click "FlasK this DVD!"

The screen should get bigger and a toolbar appears

Click "Options" and scroll down to "Output Format Options"

Under the "Video Codecs." List, scroll down to "KS-MPEG-4 VKI Codec V3", click it and hit configure

Set the data rate to "1000" (thats pretty good movie quality) and hit "OK"

Under the "Audio Codecs:" Scroll down to "MPEG Layer-3 Codec (professional)" and click it

Under the "Available formats for audio codec:" list, scroll down to "Mpeg Layer-3 - 128 kBit/s, 48,000 Hz, Stereo

Click "OK"

Click on "Options" and scroll down to "Global Project Options"

Click the Video Tab
-
and frame size, choose "Don't resize" (unless you want it a diff size)

under time bas (fps), check the bullet that says "30"
-
Under video structure, check, "Deinterlace video", and "Blend instead of interpolate", the threshold should be 20

under the iDCT Options, check "auto select"

Click the audio tab
-
Check the bullet that says "Decode audio", and under "audio sampling rate parameters:", check "same as input"

click the Post Processing tab

Under resizing quality options, check "HQ Bicubic Filtering (slowest, Hightest Quality)"

Under letterbox, cropping, and aspect options, check "No crop", "No letterboxing, "Keep aspect ratio", and click "4:3 (TV)

Click the Files tab
-
Set the output video file (somewhere on your desktop does good)

click the general tab
-
under compiling time, check "Compile whoel file"

under "search size (KB)", set the textbox to "30000"
-
under processing format, check "auto selection"
-
Click OK
-
Now we are ready to start compressing our movie!, click "Run", and select "Start Conversion!"

A box should appear telling you how long it will take (depends on your processor speed, it takes me like 6 hours)

When it is done, you should have a dvd movie, compressed to a smaller size, on your desktop

You can go ahead and delete the folder "DVD-YOURMOVIE" now.

Watch your movie and eat some popcorn!
